I've always loved a real tree-- they are a little pricey here. I've seen them as low as $30 at Food Lion, around $50 at Lowes, and in the upwards of $90 at tree lots.

We bought our tree from Brandon's Boy Scout Troop this year-- an 8 footer for $55. Not too bad, and the money goes to a worthy cause.
