You know, I agree that Joe did us a favor. When he asked that question, he showed the world that, unlike McCain and Palin, Obama would answer honestly, something the other two could never quite bring themselves to do.

As for the cesspool of Chicago politics, what greater proof of Obama's innocence and clean hands, than Blagojevich going postal on him and his refusal to play along? Never heard anyone from the Keating Five talk about how McCain wouldn't play. And we've all seen evidence of Palin's delight in using state funds to pay her own household bills.
