I know this probably doesn't help but you mention thyroid cancer. My niece has battled yeast infections since she was 16 and sexually active and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 18. Maybe there is some off the wall link. I just thought it was a weird coincky dink. I have only had 1 my entire life and I feel for you.
