I wonder how their reordering system works. I know at the store I work at (not a target) when an item is scanned at the register, that item is then "gone" and the computer system knows to reorder. I wonder if you buy the extra 9 pair of pants and their computer system reorders and then you bring them back, they'll have extra merchandise. Just a thought anyway as to why some stores limit returns.
