I don't disagree....However, Ms. Palin through her daughter under the bus on this matter. If you, as a parent, want the press to not pay attention to your children--then you, as the parent, don't drag those children into the spotlight.
I can name several movie stars who have abided by this--and their children are not the focus of media attention (until such time as the children hit their teenage years and start behaving badly).
