I have not gone to parties where I didn't buy something. If I don't feel I want to buy anything, I usually don't go.

I used to sell Avon (I never did a home party though) and now sell Scentsy. I, as a consultant, wouldn't mind if someone didn't buy something.

I host a Tastefully Simple party every fall at my house. Everyone knows we have yummy food and I break out the good wine and it's just a chance for all of us to get together and have fun. As a hostess, sure it's great when someone buys, but if they don't, I'm just glad they came and enjoyed themselves.

So, after that long winded response, I guess that I wouldn't feel bad if I didn't buy anything...and with this economy, I'm sure everyone understands!
