I had this done in October of 2007 after years and years of horrible painful cramping to the point that I would miss work one or two days a month. It was THE BEST thing I could have done, and I wish I had the procedure done 10 years ago!

My surgery was done at the hospital as an outpatient, it was supposed to be a twilight sleep (Versed) but I don't remember a thing. I was out of hospital in a few hours, came home and slept the afternoon. By evening I felt pretty good. The next day I felt fine and actually went to a craft fair in the afternoon! I had some light bleeding after the procedure.

I have had NO periods and NO cramping since this was done. I didn't have any emotion attached to it other than the joy of not having the debilitating cramps every month.

Everything but $200 was covered by my insurance.
