Sometimes I think people don't have any common sense at all anymore!! A friend of mine went to the bank with a friend of hers whose husband had died -- they needed a copy of the will in order to open his lockbox. Well, the bank employee told them the will wasn't any good because the notary's commission had EXPIRED!! LOL!! They said she would have to find the notary and have the will notarized again.

OP, sounds like you were at the same bank my friend was!! What kind of idiots do they have working in banks? And these people handle OUR money?
