We used to have big family yard sales every couple of years and we usually sold food of some sort on the side. Usually things that required little or no prep or cleanup-bottled pop and water, prepackaged snacks, hot dogs, etc.

I confess that I can be suckered into buying drinks and goodies from little kids, no problem, as long as it isn't stuff like lemonade or kool-aid. But a nice cold bottle of Coke while I'm yard saleing? I'm good for at least a buck for that and maybe more if the goodies are appealing even if I find nothing to buy at the yard sale.
