If so, how old were they when they got a phone? They were 14, 12, and 11. They are now 22, 13, and 12.
Do your kids have a texting plan? Unlimited. Thats about all they do.
Do any of your kids have a data plan (allows them to download apps, do email, surf the internet)? I pay $5 for a small plan on my oldest but none for the other two.
How did you pick the cell phone your kid uses? My sons picked the buy one get one free, and my dd picked one of the free ones from Best Buy. The were not exactly the ones they wanted but close.
Is there peer pressure for your kid to have a particular kind of phone? I don't think so. My boys wanted a keyboard for easy texting. Maybe for my dd. I think she liked the commercial.
Have you used or ever considered using one of those tracking programs like on Verizon Chaperone to track where your kid is? No
Most Importantly - what kind of phone is your kid using right now? DD has an LG Shine, and boys have a Pantec Matrix.
We have a little debate going on about mostly teens and cell phones in our group, and I seem to be the odd woman out in the discussion.
Help! | I hope this helps.
