There are so many places to discover in Colorado. My kids still talk about Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods. We took a long drive south to the Great Sand Dunes. This was all done on a week's long camping trip so we kind of drove all over the area. I think Colorado is all about the amazing topography. And as far as feeling sick on the top of Pikes Peak (or anywhere else high) I didn't feel it and I am sensitive to it. I was nervous about feeling it, but for me it was so crisp on the top (40 degrees) that I felt just fine. However, I do remember at one point it was extremely hard to climb a little hiking trail up some stairs. But I never felt sick or faintish.
