| There was snow on one of the peaks in Estes Park when we were there in July also. Snowing one time and snow on the ground the other time we went up Pike's Peak. Altitude queasiness one time on Pike's Peak and the other time not. I'm not sure about why on that one. The drive from Manitou Springs to Estes Park, drive through Estes Park and back to Manitou Springs was an all day event. What a wonderful state to vacation in! We also enjoyed 7 Falls at Colorado Springs and Royal Gorge at Canon City. |
