I have a ton of houseplants. I haven't counted them, but I bet I have at least 100. Here's my 2 cents:

If there's no hole in the bottom of the planter, you have to be very careful. It's easy to over water a plant if there are not drainage holes. When the roots get waterlogged, it can look like the plant is wilting and needs more water. So, you water it more and the roots rot more and before you know it, the plant is dead.
