I buy my thread and backing at MarathonThread.com. They seem to have the best prices and the customer service is outstanding. I buy most of my designs from Embroidery Designs - 50,000 designs at Embroidery Library. They have a new sale every week, starts on Wed mornings. When you buy something from them they will send you a VIP invite the next month with sales only for people bought the month before. This is another site I get designs from http://www.sweetembroidery.com. You pay either a monthly fee or a yearly fee and can download as many as you want.
