Marathonthread.com has 2 collections of thread that are $75.00 each, for the polyester thread. The first one is 50 most popular colors and the other one is 50 second most popular colors. I bought both of them then added a few spools at a time of the rest of the colors they have. They have 306 colors. These spools are mini king spools with 1,100 yards of thread on each spool. I also buy my bobbin thread from them. I get the spun polyesters cone that has 22,000 yards on it for $12.95. They also have GC and I have let family members know that they would make great gifts . I don't know where you live but they are in NJ and I am in NH. I can place an order before noon and have it at my door 2 days later, to me that is fast service. I have never tried rayon thread, when I got my machine the Brother dealer I bought it from said to use polyester thread and that is what I have used and it works up great and it is a little less then rayon thread.
