I agree. I can't believe he wasn't being more closely watched.

I did hear on the news tonight (Fox, I think) that people like him are rarely on the radar of the authorities because they are such law-abiders.They are obviously not 'good people', but they are actually hyper-focused on the law and will get as close to the line as they possibly can... but rarely cross it, specifically because they freak out at the idea of government intervention in their lives. The person being interviewed said that in a weird way, their extremist views actually result in them *not* crossing the line.

So... they don't get watched as closely as perhaps they should be.

I think someone - idiotically - in another thread indicated that this idiot's views more closely resemble those on this board who are more of the conservative persuasion than the liberal one. How stupid must one be to make that statement? The guy hated Jews. Exactly which side of the aisle wants to protect Israel and which is far more likely to be pro-Palestinian?

But I digress...

To assume that murderer has much in common with either mainstream party is to live in la-la land. I have no more in common with him than I did the abortionist Tiller.
