At Giant Eagle ,thankyou = "You now have 10 cents in fuelperks"!
At Dollar General ,thankyou = "Would you like to donate (whatever change you have) to such and such charity ?" (Like I would be shopping at a Dollar store if I had change to spare!)
At Walmart thankyou = "Sorry about that." (Because they always mess up my coupon deductions.).
At most other stores thankyou= the sound of the cash register ringing up the next customer.
Doesn't really bother me though .
