I just saw the play "To Kill a Mockingbird" with Matthew Modine starring as Atticus Finch. It was really intense. I thought it would be hard to translate from a book and award-winning movie to a play.

As far as musicals, I've seen several on Broadway, and loved them. The most recent I saw was "Spamalot" with Clay Aiken. LOVED it. Also saw The Lion King, Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast (When Debbie Gibson was Belle), and others mentioned already.
