dnj61, Capitol One is not the only doing things this way. I just received notice from Chase that they are raising the interest rates as well. I called to ask them why since my account has always been in good standing with them. I was told basically the same thing you were by Capital One EXCEPT the c.s. person blamed the new bill that Congress just passed as well. Shaking head!!
