Sorry you came home to a mess. That would totally irk me. Fortunately, DH is a very tidy guy -- almost OCD in his habits so he's not my problem. My kids, however, are slobs. They will do a chore when I tell them to and they will put things away when I tell them to but if left to their own devices, they would live in a pile of garbage, dirty dishes and stinky clothes, I'm certain.
