I can't remember the exact details, but it came out to something like $120,000 by the time it was paid off. He made it sound like they were doing you a huge favor by keeping you safe. He compared the payment plan to an insurance policy "you just get used to paying it". My sister actually applied for the payment plan, but didn't qualify.
