In early June, Walgreens ran this promotion:

Buy a Bayer Conyour Glucose Meter for $10

and get a $10 Register Rewards.

But were they sincere in making this offer ?

I say "NO" !

EVERY Walgreens within a 50 mile radius of me,

was sold out of that meter within 24 hours of the sale's start.

If they were TRULY sincere in making that offer,

they would have made sure that every Walgreens store was well-supplied.

But that never happened.

Furthermore, when i would go into their stores & ask for a rain check,

the store manager would always tell me :

"we can give you a rain check for that price,

but not for the Register Rewards".

So it is my belief that Walgreens ran this promotion,

simply to lure customers into their stores.

If that TRULY was a legitimate offer, they would run

the exact same offer again immediately - but this time

with an ample supply of meters in stock. But it hasn't

happened yet. And i'm not holding my breath waiting for it to happen,

because they are terrible at keeping a decent supply of SALE items in stock.
