Sorry, but I still think you were out of line.

A couple of posts up, you acknowledged that you now see that bascapline herself did not express the feelings / thoughts you were attributing to her. It was the statements from those on the other message board that you found objectionable... but you had certainly been harsh towards bascapline and, I believe, even accused her of editing posts, something she had not done.

Your choice to acknowledge that you *now* see what her position is but to not apologize for smacking her around during your 'period of mis-perception' is unfortunate.
