OMGosh, that poor girl fell down the poop chute! I mean, she was in 4 inches of raw crap! EWWWW! Poor thing, she was banged up, even had a cut on her forehead! I see a HUGE lawsuit.......
A blind friend of mine fell into an open manhole at a university campus. He was walking by himself, was using his white cane, and the cane tip swept right around the hole, he never detected it and fell into the hole. He was not hurt, but very shaken up! Can you imagine being blind and having this happen? Luckily for him, it was NOT a sewage hole, but a service one instead. That poor girl was lucky, considering my friend and his experience!! Oh, no, I don't know WHY the manhole at the university was left open like that.........it's just a story he told to me years ago. He never sued. I told him he was a fool!
That texting sure gets people into all kinds of trouble, doesn't it? LOL I'm glad she wasn't hurt seriously---- probably just her silly little diva pride was hurt more than anything. I would still file a lawsuit against the county though! This might have been a GOOD thing that happened to her, in the end, if they can win a settlement. And I don't see why they couldn't!! Especially since the workers admitted they left it unattended like that to go and get cones, or signs, or markers or whatever it was they said they were going to get to mark the hole!~ IDIOTS!  |
