It's good very good thing she wasn't hurt...but at BEST I'd have to think this is a 50/50 thing.
My parents always told me to watch where I was going. If I ran into something or stepped on something, it was my fault if I wasn't paying attention. What

Too many people - teens AND adults - have their faces and fingers glued to their damn phones. It's disgusting and ridiculous. No one...and I mean NO ONE -
needs to be glued to their phone like that. Doctors on call don't get as much phone time as many other people and they DO need to be available every minute on call! "Hee-Hee"ing on the phone with girlfriends every minute of the day is just not necessary.
If people spent as much time taking personal accountability for their mistakes/mishaps as they did trying to figure out how to work up a lawsuit from a situation, this world would be a whole differennt place.
