We have the purple Dyson Animal that we got at Best Buy when someone returned it after a weekend. Has worked great for 3+ years and we got a wonderful discount on it. It gets up so much pet hair and dirt. It's amazing to see all of that dirt.VERY easy to empty the canister. I would buy another. I run it on my tile kitchen floors for quick clean ups instead of sweeping.
