Moms often talk about "what could have happened". I know I did when my son narrowly missed being in the World Trade Center on 9/11. It gave me nightmares for months. I know I did when my, then, teenage daughter wrapped our car, (it left the house as a standard Taurus and ended up an L-shaped convertible), around a telephone pole and got out with a severely sprained ankle. That's what we do. Some of us just do it more and better.
