Anyone that would harm any animal like that needs to be put away. It is just a glimpse of what he is capable of, and I hope he does get some adequate time....time in segregation to think long and hard about what he did. Though I imagine someone like him would never have remorse for anything. I also think he should be forced to do hundreds of hours of community service involving animals in some way.
