Did you work for McDonald's? How do they make those..................?

Hi you guys,
I know this is kinda weird.....really OT, haha, .....but my mom and I LOVE Egg McMuffins. What we want to know is, HOW do they make the egg part? Have you ever noticed how it is so perfectly round and uniform in thickness? As if they have a special round thingamajob to cook the egg in. Someone please tell us----what are they using to make that egg? The yolk is always so light and fluffy, never runny.

Mom and I have tried and tried to make our egg this way. We tried using a round form in a frying pan. No go. The egg leaked out under the form. Tried to poach an egg, and the consistency was close, but we sure didn't have that round shap OR thickness when poaching, LOL, as you can imagine! Tried to bake an egg in a muffin top pan, but the egg came out all wrong, with browning.. McMuffin eggs are never with any browning on them---this only adds to the mystery for us!

So HOW do they do it? Do they poach those eggs somehow? Microwave them in a special rounded pan? I know this is such a simple thing for someone to answer for us. Its just we don't know anyone who works for McD's, so we've got no one to answer. A search online lead me to nowhere, only a hungrier stomach this morning!

In fact, I have everything in my fridge to make myself an Egg McDelicious this morning, even the Canadian Bacon! But tis the mystery of the perfectly round and thick egg that throws me off! I'd love to be able to simulate that egg for mom tomorrow, when I visit her. Thanks you guys!

YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!
