Ahhh, you know, I was wondering about breaking the yolk. Good tip, CubMom2! On the egg mcmuffin, the yolk is always intact, never mixed into the white, so I wasn't sure about that, but I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. I went ahead and pierced the yolk. Have you ever had an unpierced one blow up in the microwave? Having that happen once makes you remember to pierce the yolk, or else, haha!
So it sounds like it's going to take this egg a few minutes to cook then..... You know, I bet I could probably get this done in the microwave somehow also.... What I need then is a plastic cookie cutter, not this metal one I'm trying to use. Ohh, all for the love of an egg mcmuffin...so much trouble, hahah!
