Me and thousands of others, if the major message boards are any indication. There's little doubt that he said it because (a) Tatum confirmed the magazine story and (b) Griffin confirmed the magazine story. Ryan hasn't refuted it so the reporter, Variety, his children, everybody's lying? Really?
Tell me, is this another one of your anti anything Opal posts or are you so really so enraptured with Ryan O'Neal that you're the kind of fan who LOVES him deeply and truly, no matter what? If you are, you should worship him silently because anyone that thinks Ryan O'Neal is anything but an opportunistic, drunken, drugged out, sleazeball who will do anything for publicity reveals themself to be rather stupid.
Griffin told Bennetts that Ryan's "only goal was to make sure he would be in the will. It was so disgustingly transparent as soon as he found out she was terminal. I consider him a vulture presiding over a carcass." I think Griffin's right. It was obvious from the beginning that Ryan was milking Farrah's misfortune for all it was worth and he turned HER suffering into HIS very public drama. Ryan turned her disease into the Ryan O'Neal show and it was all about how hard it was on HIM, how stressed HE was, how lonely HE would be when she died, HIM, HIM, HIM.
Guess you missed Ryan's derogatory comments about Farrah too or are they just more lies about dear Ryan? You know the ones - diva, belligerant when she drank, asking him to give up his life because she was losing hers? Guess he didn't like Farrah leaving her estate to Redman after all the work he put into to trying to get it. LOL.
Griffin O'Neal has made new allegations about his father and Alana Stewart, which I'm inclined to believe too. Normally, I take these things with a big grain of salt, but if untrue, his allegations are libelous and considering the industry in which they work, a huge monetary award would be assessed because it definitely damages their reputation in the public's eye's.
Griffin implied that his 'devoted' to Farrah father and Alana, 'dearest friend' to Farrah are having an affair and have been long before Farrah died. He believes it. Since Ryan and Alana keep showing up in public together, restaurants, awards, etc., it seems likely.
Griffin could easily get away with the clear implication of the two supposed 'devotees' having an affair while Farrah was on her deathbed but he also stated clearly, on television, that
Alana Stewart was selling off Farrah's belongings on Ebay the day Farrah died! What a friend!
That's actionable and he'd know it so it's probably true. There's a rumour that Farrah's father caught Ryan and Alana in bed together while Farrah was dying in the next room. I don't know if that's true or not but maybe Alana will say in
her new book about Farrah - the one that's rumoured to contain the content's of Farrah's diaries that just happen to be missing and are presumed stolen!
Ryan and Alana aren't wasting any time making money off Farrah's death. That book was rushed to press and Alana has Farrah shows lined up. Ryan will babble to any publication that will pay him so they're both keeping busy. I guess they need to strike while the iron's hot since that will thing didn't work out for them.
