Ok... Long story short. I got sucker punched in my ribs on the left side mid range. I went to the dr. yesterday had x-rays and everything come back negative for broken bones, etc. My question is.... I have severe pain to stand up, can not put pressure on my left side, and of course, can not sleep. Should I give it another day or two and see someone else or just leave it the way it is. The pain is midway through my body (from back to front) on the left side. I keep thinking spleen or kidney but the dr I saw said if it was I would have been in shock by now. I was given a painkiller but it isn't helping too much and I can't eat any more than a few bites before I feel as if I am going to explode. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts? Anything would be appreciated. I am miserable and just want some thoughts on what to do from here. Thanks in advance for your help.
