I'm sorry about your dog. Sometimes, animal rescue organizations will contribute a little toward the vet bill. It won't be much (50 or 100 dollars) but it helps a little and some of them also work with vets who will accept a lower fee for medical maintenance for the pet. It's worth looking into because that's what some of the donations were meant for and it can ease your financial burden. Good luck to you and Duchess!
