I suggest to do a search and join dog or dalmation groups. I had a cat stop eating this past spring. I ended up spending just over $2000.00 and she's back to normal now. I knew of 2 cat groups that I had used several years before when a different cat had developed kidney problems.

I rejoined one group that gave me the name of another cat group that specifically worked with assisted feline feeding. Those 2 groups saved me TONS of money as I was able to research and speak knowledgebly when I went to the many vet visits. I had to syringe feed my cat 4 times a day for over 6 weeks but she made it!!

My groups were on Yahoo. I know there are knowledgeble dog groups on Yahoo and I'm sure there are more around. It really did help our family, our cat and our finances.
