Cool!

When our house was being built, we were out here one evening and my youngest DD was playing in the backyard. There was a rabbits nest with some babies out there. We could tell there were babies in the nest but never disturbed them, but we never saw them or the mom. I think they were hawk food. But dd was playing with a beach ball and this hawk came flying down and swooped way down near her. It scared the he$$ out of her, to us it was funny, but he flew down over her and landed on the deck of the house next door and sat there for the longest time watching her. She threw the beach ball at it a couple times (missed) but he never moved. He acted like he owned the place and we were too near his food or something.
