Poor puppy! And poor you!
My female beagle had an issue in the past with her disks. Invertebral Disk Disease. She was x-rayed, put on medication, and eventually it healed on it's own. If it happens again, we may need to have surgery, at the cost of $5,000. (Time to pawn everything, LOL) Out vet mentioned the Care Credit thing to us too. We noticed an issue when she could not even walk without yipping - every step she took, the disk would pinch a nerve in her back.

You and puppy are in my thoughts. I hope she gets better, and maybe can heal on her own too?
