This had me LOL. Things can seem so "important" at the time, and then you look at the big picture and those same things are rather trivial.
Marilyn, I think if he would just "let go" it make it easier on you, but, I don't think anything about divorce is ever easy. A friend once told me that when she got divorced, it was as if her spouse had died. Even tho things didn't work out, she still had feelings for her ex as a human being.
I'm glad you are filing on Monday. No need to put off the inevitable any longer. When someone betrays your trust like that, it is very difficult to recover from that.
And, speaking as someone who has seen a picture of you, you ARE a pretty woman.
