I got mine the summer before 6th grade, so however old you are then. I am 42 now. I am so over it. I was so over it after the first year. My mom went thru menopause fairly young, at 39, so I was hoping I would too. No such luck.
After I had my twins 4 years ago my periods got worse. I called it my monthly massacre. I could not go the first and second day without using an Ultra OB and the biggest pad I could find. Still whenever I stood up I would have that lovely gush.
I had to change everything at least every hour. My Gyn just put me on seasonique 5 weeks ago. So far so good!
I am LOVING not having a period!!!
