I'm on regular bc pills, too. My doctor has told me I can stay on them through menopause up until about age 52. I'll be 45 in December. She says as long as they don't give me any problems and I don't smoke I can stay on them and they'll keep hormone levels level and mask the menopause symptoms. I intend to keep taking them and avoid all the issues I keep hearing about! Ugh! I have no idea if I've started menopause, in the middle or done with it yet!
