I'm not suggesting we should legislate how many kids a family can have. BUT I do care about overpopulation. I think it is a shame that behavior like this gets glamorized by a tv show.

I agree with Groucho Marx in this exchange with a contestant on You Bet Your Life:

Groucho: Why do you have so many children? That's a big burden and a big responsibility.

Mrs. Story: Well, because I love my children and I think that's our purpose here on Earth, and I love my husband.

Groucho: I love my cigar, too, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while.


Actually, according to snopes this never happened, but if Groucho were alive today, I'd ask him to say it to the Duggars.

I think of the Duggars as idiots.
