I want to know just exactly how they are "affording" to have that many kids.

I've heard/read a lot of different things including they had their house declared a church so they don't have to pay taxes, among other things. IF and that's a darn big IF, they are supporting their brood without ANY assistance and I include WIC, health insurance for kids that is provided by the state such as CHIP, foodstamps, handouts from charities, etc., then I have no real problem with it. As long as EVERYTHING is paid for by money they EARN either from jobs, the tv show, endorsements, etc. then there is really nothing wrong with it.

If they are taking assistance/handouts then they are so very much in the wrong. There is no earthy reason to have a family that big, you have a family that big because you want it, period. Other people shouldn't have to pay for your wants.

Personally, I think the whole idea of having 19 kids is disgusting and that the kids are getting the short end of the stick. There is no way one mother can provide adequate attention to that many kids. Seems to me it would be like beign rasied in an institution because the kid to adult ratio is so out of whack.

Maybe they should name this kid "Justgetoffmealready".
