No more periods and LOVING it but I will still say I am still very anemic. Now they are looking into other causes. My 8 year old daughter talks about getting her period all the time and I tell her she can wait. She is already showing signs of following in my early footsteps. We actually had to buy her little bras(because she needs them) and she has a couple of armpit and other hair. I just hate for her to have to go through all the stuff we have all been through and hated. As far as the ablation, one OB recommended it but my NEW ob said it is not to stop periods just lighten them--so research it.
Have you been taking iron supplements? I don't know how long it takes to rebuild your iron levels. I have been anemic from that and being anemic makes your periods heavier. Seems like it would be the opposite and it just makes everything worse. I had to have a colonoscopy and luckily that's not the cause of my anemia and it's getting better.
