EXACTLY!!! It's ridiculous to say that the parents are raising 18 -- soon to be 19 -- kids.
The older children are raising their younger siblings. Plain and simple. And totally wrong.
There isn't a parent in the world who could give 18 kids the individual attention any child deserves.
I think the Duggars are beyond selfish. They want to have a gazillion kids but they don't have to raise them all.
