I live in central NJ
I like that within a 45 min drive or less in one direction I can be down the shore at the boardwalk eating funnel cake and sausage sandwiches, in another direction I can be near the Delaware Water Gap to see the pretty scenery and in another direction I can be enjoying myself in NYC. I grew up here and for some reason haven't really left, except for an extremely short move to NC.
There isn't much I don't like about living here except for our gov (but that is work related) The best part for me about living here is
I don't have to pump my own gas
