So far I am the only one from Alabama. Things I like are that it is a rural area, yet only an hour or less from lots of things to see and do. I am less than half an hour from the Bankhead National Forest, it is a BEAUTIIFUL area in every season, and takes on a different look each season.

Some dislikes are being rural we seem to be developing a large drug problem. There are hardly any jobs shorter than the hour drive, and been there done that, it gets old driving an hour each way a day.

I grew up about an hour from where I currently live and other than a few stints of moving around when I was sewing my wild oats, have lived most all my life within and hour of where I was born.
