Have you guys seen this commercial for this new paint by Dutchboy? They claim that it eliminates household odors all year long. Have you heard of this? How can a paint do this?
They said in the commercial that something like 85% of us can't smell the overall odor of our own house (because we are used to it I guess) but other people smell it for sure, but don't fear--this new paint will help eliminate those odors.
I looked it up on their website and it's called Refresh paint.
Adds Beauty. Eliminates Household Odors. The first and only paint with Arm & HammerŪ odor-eliminating technology that beautifies and eliminates odors at the same time.
So it has Arm & Hammer in it. I just don't see how that can eliminate odors all year long. What if you have a smoker in the house? I mean, it would be great if this really worked!! Funny, at the site they don't say how much it costs. They sell it at walmart though. But I can't find a price anywhere; not at home depot, nor lowe's, nor walmart.com. Would cost a ton to ship it, but just wondering how much could a gallon cost?
Dutch Boy is having a contest, if you want to enter. Think you've got the stinkiest house? Then go for it! You'll get 50 gallons of this paint and a chunk of money too!
