I live in Western Massachusetts. I've lived here all of my life. I didn't go to Cape Cod until I was in my 30's. I love New England and going to the beach in Rhode Island in the summer and fall. I love the colleges in our area and the "big city" cultural and recreational activities that we have here, with the feel of a small town. I love that we have great schools that are quite diverse.

I like the fact that we have 6 New England states and each of them is a bit different, as cjs216 pointed out

I do love to travel (some of us native New Englanders do! :-) ) and especially like going to warm places in the winter, to get away from our cold, long, dark New England winters. I would travel all year round if I could!
