Mine are more than that....and we have no pool, no lake front, no nothing. We have about 40 custom homes in our neighborhood. The rules....well, let's just say there are many....even down to what color we have to paint our mailbox. But, it is well worth every dime. Houses in our area are rarely on the market for very long (last one on the market was on and off in less than a month and sold for over $500k) and all didn't drop much in value during the housing crisis.
