My mom lives part-year in CA and her condo dues are $400 a month BUT they get a huge rec center with gym, pools (two), hot tubs, sauna, party area, weekly meet and greets to stop at (food, etc), local bands play on Fri nights, she may get to play golf...not sure since she doesn't play, plus it's gated. $400 a month is pretty cheap in her area considering what she gets
