What I've seen happen in FL with associations since our move has only reinforced my feeling of dislike for the whole association concept. This being the latest story.

In that case, the HOA is actually providing the water to the homeowner, who didn't pay for it. Think the water company doesn't cut off your water if you don't pay the bill? Trust me, they do.
